The Gospel of Jesus Christ

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31)

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the basic message of the Bible.
God the Father sent His only Son, Jesus Christ into the world to make
the way of salvation available to us.  All men and women are sinners
and cannot enter into God's favor or presence based on our own merit.
Christ, fully man and fully God, came into the world to take our place
of judgment, dying by crucifixion in Jerusalem.  God the Father
raised Him up from the dead to demonstrate His victory over sin, evil and
death forever.  When we place our faith in Christ as Savior, we inherit
NEW LIFE and are no longer lost, but are now sons and daughters of God.
This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news that we can live in
joy and victory through our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Steps to Salvation

1.  We all have separated ourselves from God.

    "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory
    of God."  -Romans 3:23

2.  But He still loves us.

    "For God so loved the world that He gave His one
    and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not
    perish but have eternal life."  -John 3:16

3.  So He has made a way for us to know Him.

    "God demonstrates His own love for us in this:  While
    we were still sinners Christ died for us."  -Romans 5:8

4.  All we have to do is believe.

    "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and
    believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
    you will be saved."  -Romans 10:9

5.  And receive His gift.

    "(All) are justified freely by His grace through the
    redemption that came by Christ Jesus."  -Romans 3:24
